Whitechapel “True Believer | digital EP + ltd. CD-R
TRACKS: 1.) Vintage Violence 2.) Bright Future 3.) Ill Vibrations 4.) Cutters 5.) Living Splendor
ABOUT: Written during the autumn of 2003, Whitechapel’s eventual debut, “True Believer,” focuses on all the lovely things in life: death, love, suicide, drug abuse, violence, and self-loathing. Fortunately, it’s all set to the steady beat of early 80s post-punk, with heavy nods to the Sound, the Comsat Angels, and other forgotten doom-and-gloomers. If you’re unhappy and you don’t know it, put this on: you’ll feel much worse in about 20 minutes. (Note: not to be confused with the death metal band of the same name).
