Conifer “s/t” | digital LP

ABOUT: Trademark’s monumental first release. Originally released by Not Common Records and recently reissued in physical format by the sensational motherfuckers over at Important Records (Ocean, Swans, Thurston Moore, etc.).
Conifer hail from the original Portland – not the shit hole in Oregon (jk) – located in the only United State with a one syllable name – MAINE.
Portland is America’s greatest small city, and Conifer is the torchbearer for those inhabitants wishing to exist within its darkest corridors. Though Conifer is now known for instrumental psychedelic rock gems, its beginnings are captured here in sludgy, doom-worshipping glory. Four tracks of obscenely crushing density. Fuck the dirty south – this is the dirgey north, and god damn, its devastating.
TRACKS:
1.) Troy/Landmammal
2.) Turning Sand Into Glass
3.) Widowmaker
4.) Albuquerque
