ABOUT: Samurai Dreams returns with Psychic Readings, consisting of new songs, instrumentals, noise collages, and a re-recorded song, all awash with reverb, tape hiss, and incidental sounds. While as minimal as any artist in existence, the blackened folk base present on The Invisible Landscape here draws in slight strains of late 60s psychedelia and pure doom. Written in pieces over the last year and a half in Los Angeles, Psychic Readings was completed during January 2009 amidst the ghosts and frozen alleys of New York City.
